Birth Doula

As your birth doula I will walk beside you throught the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. Every family is unique and has their own set of needs, so the service I provide will be tailored to you. This will usually include three antenatal sessions to get to know each other and prepare for your birth, being on call for and attending your birth, and three postnatal sessions for practical and emotional support. It also includes access to remote support from me via Whatsapp or phone. This regular package costs £1,800 plus travel expenses.

I am able to accompany you to appointments or classes should you so wish, at an additional cost. If you would like to add hypnobirthing or more postnatal care to your package this can be done at a significant discount.

Payment plans are available, and I am delighted to offer a discount to neurodivergent or LGBTQI+ families.

Postnatal Care

As your postnatal doula I can support your family with your transition to your new family life, whether or not I have been with you for your birth. This can include emotional support; basic infant care and feeding support; some light domestic work; help with older children; signposting to good quality resources; cooking and more. You can tailor your package to meet your individual needs. My hourly rate for this care is £35/hr plus travel expenses.

Other Services

Birth and Postnatal Planning Five hours of time spread across two sessions where I can support you in developing your own birth and postnatal plan. This includes planning resources provided by me. This service costs £300.

KGHypnobirthing This is a course which will prepare you for birth and equip you with essential tools to stack the odds in your favour of having the experience you want. I am a fully qualified hypnobirthing teacher with Katharine Graves Hypnobirthing. I offer a complete hypnobirthing course provided in your own home over 4 sessions. This standard course costs £400 including handbook, audio tracks, and other course materials. You can find out more about KGHypnobirthing here.

Other Care Doula services can be very flexible. Your baby doesn’t have to be a newborn either! Going away for a weekend and leaving your partner with the kids? Your loved one is poorly and you live too far away to offer support? A doula can step into the breach and provide practical and emotional support. If you have already been my client one-off overnight care can be provided to get you a good night’s sleep when you need it. I can also be available to accompany you to appointments when you might need support. My hourly rate of £30 plus travel expenses applies in these cases.
